This is my mini CV…
From 2012 – present I work at Grant Thornton Cape, and auditing and assurance firm in the Foreshore of Cape Town. I am currently serving my articles period (3 years) in order to become a Chartered Accountant when I grow up. I enjoy the challenge and the exposure that I am given here, and I strongly believe that the auditing route will mould me into an all round business man and person. And on the plus side, I get to work with a bunch of cool people that are my age. How often does that happen in the working world?
From 2007 – 2011 I studied my undergraduate and post graduate accounting (honours) degree at Stellenbosch University, and for three (3) years I lived in Simonsberg res. I can recommend both, what a jol.
From 2001 – 2006 I attended Rondebosch Boys’ High School in the leafy suburbs of (you guessed it) Rondebosch, where I excelled at both sport and academics, culminating in an A aggregate, first team hockey membership, and a whole lot of memories.
For primary schooling I attended Kenridge Primary School in Durbanville (other side of the boerewors curtain). This was a great school where I made many of my life-long friends, and prepared to attend high school.
Interests and hobbies:
Well here’s why I have a blog. My girlfriend does not share the same passion for cars and business that I do, and when I sit on my balcony and watch the Ferraris, Maseratis, Lambos and other sports cars go past to Clifton and Camps Bay I bore her to death with my car rants.
Now I have set up this blog to allow myself to rant as much as I want on the cars that I see going past my flat, on both the dream cars, as well as the reasonable or starter cars. I like giving my opinion on these kinda things, and from experience of cars I have rented for work, friends’ experiences, and what I read..
I will also be blogging on what happening in Cape Town, South Africa, and my life. I enjoy to get out there and “do stuff”, so why not share what I am doing, and help make recommendations to others that wanna do stuff too. I would like to give to you my 2 cents on life, cars and some more life. To locate my 2 cents, go to the “Home” page. Relax and enjoy!
